Mustang Rescue

840 wild mustangs living at a sanctuary in South Dakota are in grave danger. Many of the wild mustangs have gone without food and water and have died. The sanctuary has until the end of the month to place all the mustangs or law enforcement will confiscate the equines and most likely they will be sent to auction.
Equine Voices was contacted by several groups to see if we had any room to take some of the animals into our rescue. With some juggling, we decided to take five; three recently gelded stallions and two young mares.
The newly rescued mustangs were delivered to Equine Voices by Chile Pepper Miracle Mustangs and arrived safely on Wednesday November 9th. With special feed, love and care, they are on the road to recovery.
We are looking for individuals who would like to help with this rescue to sponsor one or more of these innocent animals. If you would like to sponsor one or more of these mustangs, or if you are able to help give a home for some directly from South Dakota, please contact angie@equinevoices.org or 520-398-2814.
